Auxiliary nurse

Description of the work

Nursing assistants at Clinique Omicron are an essential support in the delivery of health care to patients. They work closely with other members of the medical team to provide quality care, contribute to the management of care plans and ensure the well-being of patients.

Main tasks

  • Provide basic care and interventions according to the plan established by the care team.
  • Take vital signs, administer prescribed medication and provide hygiene care.
  • Observe patients' state of health and report any changes to the clinical team.
  • Participate in planning and monitoring care in collaboration with nurses and other health professionals.
  • Offer support and education to patients and their families to improve their well-being.
  • Maintain documentation of care and interventions in electronic medical records.

Training and access conditions

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in health, assistance and nursing.
  • Valid permit to practice from the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
  • Experience in clinical care or a healthcare environment.
