Since April 15, 2024, certain specialized nurse practitioners have been able to care for people registered with the Guichet d'accès à un médecin de famille.

To qualify :

• Not already registered with a physician or IPS
• Hold a valid health insurance card
• Must be domiciled in Quebec and have a current RAMQ address
• 14 years of age or older

The Carnet santé Québec allows you to consult :

• The list of your pharmacy-registered medicines
• Medical imaging reports (ultrasound, X-rays, etc.)
• Results of your analyses (blood tests, urine tests, etc.)
• Medical services received and paid for on a fee-for-service basis by RAMQ

Accessible on carnetsante.gouv.qc.ca or via the Carnet santé Québec mobile application.

Non-profit organization working with Clinique Omicron to offer care not covered by the RAMQ, with no compulsory contribution.

• Routine nursing care (dressings, health check-ups)
• Baby, adult and travel vaccinations
• Blood tests and injections
• Health education and prevention workshops
• Support in the public health network

The CPMA provides forms to protect professionals who provide care to patients who are not residents of Canada.

• Primacy of Canadian laws and courts in the event of a lawsuit
• Simplified procedures for non-resident patients
• Protection for physicians and health care organizations
