Optimizing care

At Clinique Omicron, our group prescription nurses play a crucial role in optimizing access to care for our patients. Benefit from nursing autonomy, enabling rapid and effective management of a variety of health problems without the need for prior medical assessment by a physician. This approach translates into lower consultation costs and greater flexibility for the patient. Our qualified nurses offer comprehensive care, including the prescription of appropriate medication and, if necessary, blood tests, ensuring precise follow-up tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Advanced Expertise

The specialized nurse practitioner

The Specialized Nurse Practitioner (SNP) at Clinique Omicron raises the level of nursing care by performing advanced medical activities. With a specialty certificate recognized by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), the SPN is empowered to prescribe diagnostic tests, medications and medical treatments, and to diagnose illnesses. Our PHNs are also trained to perform preventive check-ups and initiate treatments for a wide range of conditions, including invasive diagnostic techniques such as gynecological examinations and digital rectal exams. Their expertise ensures holistic, preventive care, contributing significantly to the health and well-being of our patients.
