Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is an effective method for stimulating hair regrowth in both men and women. It involves taking a blood sample, isolating the platelets and plasma, then injecting them into areas of hair loss. Tests and examinations to detect heart disease
Cardiovascular assessment: ECG, Holter, ABPM
We offer essential cardiovascular assessments such as the resting electrocardiogram (ECG), ABPM and Holter. Resting ECG, a rapid 10-minute test, evaluates the bioelectrical activity of the heart using electrodes placed on the chest, arms and legs. ABPM, an ambulatory blood pressure monitor worn for 24 hours, is the gold standard for assessing blood pressure. Finally, the Holter is a small device that records heart rhythm continuously over 24 to 48 hours, even during daily activities. These tests are quick to install and require a doctor's prescription.
*A medical prescription is required for these examinations. Examinations with interpretation of results are available from 50$ and are not covered by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ).
