How the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) works
Identifying needs
An employee or manager contacts our EAP department with a request for consultation or a specific intervention. This first step enables us to identify any concerns, whether they relate to mental or physical health, or to administrative management.
Initial assessment and triage
An initial screening is carried out by our qualified medical staff to determine the level of urgency and the nature of the problem. If necessary, a rapid appointment is arranged, usually within 24 hours.
Personalized consultation
Depending on needs, a consultation is organized with the appropriate professional (psychologist, general practitioner, specialist) via teleconsultation, in clinic or at home for cases requiring face-to-face intervention.
Follow-up and recommendations
After the consultation, a personalized follow-up is set up to assess the evolution of the situation and adjust the treatment if necessary. Recommendations are given for ongoing care or for other medical or psychological interventions.
Additional services
If required, Clinique Omicron offers additional specialized medical care in the clinic (e.g. check-ups, medical tests, etc.) or in-home interventions for employees requiring more in-depth care.

We also offer full administrative support for employers, including anonymized reports on service use and advice on administrative procedures (CNESST, SAAQ, insurance).
