Your questions about booking an appointment
Everything you need to know before booking your appointment.
You can book online from the Appointment page, by phone at 514 606-3350 or by email at info@cliniqueomicron.ca. First choose where you want to be seen (at the clinic, by teleconsultation or at home), then the service you need. The details of each service and its coverage are shown before you confirm.
No. No referral or prior registration is required for most services, and the clinic accepts patients who do not have a family doctor. Depending on the reason for your visit, you may see a general practitioner, a nurse practitioner (IPS) or a clinical nurse.
You can book a medical consultation, a blood test, a vaccination or a health check-up. These services are offered at the clinic, by teleconsultation anywhere in Quebec or, for blood tests and nursing consultations, at your home. Businesses can also enter into an agreement for occupational health and vaccination.
Bring your health insurance card, a list of your medications and a piece of ID. For a teleconsultation, also make sure you have a device with a camera, a microphone and a stable Internet connection, in a quiet, private place. Prepare your questions so the professional can answer them.
You can change or cancel your appointment using the link in your confirmation email. The clinic requires minimum notice, specified in its cancellation policy on the Pricing page. A late cancellation without a valid reason may result in fees. If in doubt, contact the team directly.
It depends on the service. Clinique Omicron is a hybrid clinic: some services are provided by professionals affiliated with the RAMQ, while others are private and billed to the patient or their insurer. The applicable coverage is shown before you confirm your appointment; the Pricing page details each service.
Our points of service are open Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Sunday; these hours may change on statutory holidays. See the Contact us page to check the hours of your point of service.
Yes. Teleconsultation is offered anywhere in Quebec, with a doctor or a nurse practitioner (IPS). Choose teleconsultation when booking, then the service you need. During the appointment, the professional determines whether an in-person examination is needed.
