Job description

Medical Administrative Assistants at Clinique Omicron are responsible for managing and organizing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. In close collaboration with the care team, they contribute to the quality of service offered to patients through their rigor, discretion, and keen sense of organization.

Main tasks

  • Manage patient reception, registration, and medical record updates.
  • Organize appointments, manage healthcare professionals' schedules and coordinate consultations.
  • Prepare medical documents, reports and administrative forms.
  • Manage communications—calls, emails, and various correspondence—providing courteous and professional service.
  • Process administrative files related to insurance, billing and patient payments.
  • Assist the care team members with their administrative tasks and ensure accurate medical recordkeeping.

Training and entry requirements

  • Degree in medical administration, secretarial or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in medical management software and office automation tools (Office Suite).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of health processes and regulations (asset).
