Description of the work
Medical administrative assistants at Clinique Omicron are responsible for managing and organizing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. In collaboration with the care team, they contribute to the quality of service offered to patients through their thoroughness, discretion and organizational skills.
Main tasks
- Manage patient intake, registration and updating of medical records.
- Organize appointments, manage healthcare professionals' schedules and coordinate consultations.
- Prepare medical documents, reports and administrative forms.
- Manage communications, including calls, e-mails and correspondence, providing courteous and professional service.
- Process administrative files related to insurance, billing and patient payments.
- Assist care team members with administrative tasks and ensure accurate follow-up of medical records.
Training and access conditions
- Degree in medical administration, secretarial or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in medical management software and office automation tools (Office Suite).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of healthcare processes and regulations is an asset.
